sometimes shit just happens.
sometimes it comes in large loads.
this past weekend, into this week, is one of those times.
found out that my dad has to have surgery on thursday.
they found an aneurysm when they were looking for gallstones.
(the found gallstones too. ain�t that a pissa�)
nothing major, just his aorta.
last thing he was expecting.
needless to say, i�m slightly freaked out.
trying to stay calm & cool about but i�m scared.
my dad is not that old.
i would like to keep him around awhile longer.
his comment on all of this.. �Well now all my marathon training is shot to hell.� i told him that there were less drastic ways of getting
out of babysitting for my son.
humor as coping tool is alive & well in my family.
hard to cry when you are laughing.
