Everything scares me lately
-The Clear

start my monday in a 59 degree office & a backlog of work to be done. no motavation to do anything except curl up with a hot coffee & watch the traffic go by. a friend on the phone tells me he is going to have himself committed today & i know this is what he should have done weeks ago but it still sucks & i worry about him. that final step between knowing what you need to do & actually doing it is a hard canyon to cross sometimes.

doing my best to get ready for the indis next week, but i have to work the days before & the business trip keeps making me think that the indis are farther away than they really are. i don�t care about winning, i just want to read the best that i can & let the judges fall where they may. i also have a gig on friday that i had forgotten about until late last week & i�m looking forward to the show but not the 2 � hour drive to get there. at least it will give me a chance to try out some pieces for the indis.

on a different note�
my son is hooked on Clean Sweep & has been bugging us to �clean sweep� his room for weeks now. well, saturday we did. he had a blast sorting out all of his things & getting rid of the toys he does not use anymore. he cleared out a hell of a lot more that i thought he would & the room looks great now. lets see how long it lasts. (i give it a week)

I'm also honored to be here with the Speaker of the House-just happens to be from the state of Illinois. I'd like to describe the Speaker as a trustworthy man. He's the kind of fellow who says when he gives you his word he means it. Sometimes that doesn't happen all the time in the political process.

with any luck i�ll have my home computer back by tonight & i�ll be able to write & update without blowing off work. then again, i won�t be getting paid to update so i have mixed feelings about this.
