went to a father�s day breakfast at my son�s preschool yesterday. it was like having coffee among the savages. the dads looking lost, the kids on hyper mode. throw in some eggs & muffins and you�ve got the picture.
i love my son very much & i hope i never have to do that again. he goes to preschool so i don�t have to deal with 18 spazed-out 3 & 4-year-olds. all the dads were huddled together in groups by the doorways, like antelope hoping the lions would not attack. it was very silly.

another quiet night at home tonight. it�s been a long week & i�m hoping a quiet night with my sketchpad & some coffee will recharge my soul. we�ll see what happens.
i�m reading in a poetry festival tomorrow morning. i�m the first one on at 10am. they had better have coffee or someone is loosing an arm. don�t really want to be doing it but got suckered into reading. would rather be sleeping. oh well. could be worse. i�ll take in some art while i�m there, and then sneak out early. they don�t pay me enough to be nice. at least i can get out tomorrow night. now i just need to figure out where�
