There's very little advice in men's magazines because men don't think there's a lot they don't know. Women do. Women want to learn. Men think "I know what I'm doing, just show me somebody naked." ok, before you do anything else go read this week�s zero point zero by tony brown. there are times when we write & then there are times when the words just come through us & we simply become the messenger. these are the times when we are most honest & they are also the times when we scare ourselves with what we have written. to me, this is what being a writer is all about. wind is howling outside today. feels like i�m going to end up in oz if i�m not careful. waiting for the packing crates to show up & i get the feeling that they won�t be here until tomorrow (when they were first scheduled to be here). thus, i have blown the whole afternoon waiting for something that i know is not going to appear. there�s a metaphor hoping for a quiet night tonight. may go to WAG for the youth slam, may stay at home & clean, may shave the cats� who knows? not much else to say right now. time to call it a day & go get the boy. be well. |
