I think that the artists should take over this planet because they�re the only ones who can make anything happen. i thought the weekend would never get here. this week just seemed to drag along like a slug on sleeping pills. thank God the week is over. seems like it was a hard week for just about everyone i know. a week of bad news, bad moods, bad health & bad weather. hoping the weekend will give everyone a chance to re-group & come back better on monday. (or at least a bit rested) spent the day moving large wooden packing crates & already i can feel my muscles bitching & moaning. some of the crates weigh over 200 pounds empty� don�t want to think how hard they are going to be to move when they are full of armor. at least i�m not the one who is going to have to move them� that is what the fine arts shippers get paid the big bucks for. big show at the java hut on sunday. on top of the reading & feature we have Def Poetry Jam doing a selection slam. the top three winners get a chance to read at opening night of Def Poetry Jam in boston & all the slammers get free tickets. a radio station is going to be there & they have all sorts of prizes & giveaways planned. looks like it is going to be one hell of a crazy night. let�s hope it is a good crazy & not a �someone call the cops� kind of crazy. just have to wait & see. come on down & watch the fun unfold. so much more to say & no time today. hoping for some time this weekend to sit & write, but who knows what the weekend will bring. be well I always believed that a writer ought to say for people what they can�t say for themselves. |
