Top Ten Guilty Musical Pleasures
(thanks to tony for the idea.)

#1. Grace Jones- yum yum yum!! i want her to treat me like the dog i am.

#2. Twisted Sister- yeah, there are times when nothing will fix my mood better than under the blade or you cant stop rock n roll. ive seen them live three times & the put on one hell of a show.

#3. Queen- the first record i ever bought was Queens news of the world. loved it when i was young, love it more now. i still think day at the races is one of the best rock records ever made.

#4. Tony Bennett- the man is a classic. get his MTV unplugged album & surprise yourself with just how good he is. what a voice.

#5. some old disco songs- most disco makes me want to hurt myself, but there are some old disco songs that i just cant get enough of. God, i could listen to brickhouse for days. or play that funky music white boy. or freak out.

#6. 80s hair bands- im talking bands like Poison & Ratt basic licks, stupid lyrics, simple hooks, & hair enough for five men. pure rock out with your cock out. get your lighters out. (just keep it away from the Aqua Net)

#7. 80s pop rock- think Wang Chung, Men At Work, Loverboy, Simple Minds, Wall of Voodoo, Big Country, Howard Jones, The Cars.

#8. Glam Rock- anyone remember Angle? Gary Glitter? Ziggy Stardust?

#9. Green Day- their first record kicks much ass & ive liked most of what they have done since. no, i dont think they sold out i think they sold well.

#10. Donald Fagen- the stuff he does with Steely Dan is good, but his solo stuff is out of this world!! i think nightfly is one of the top three greatest records of the rock era. i think he is one of the best songwriters today.

i left out stuff that is odd-ball but cool. many of these bands are not cool by general standards, but most of the people i know like them, so it is not embarrassing. (Devo, The Smiths, The Cure, Joy Division, Oingo Boingo, Warren Zevon, Squeeze, Violent Femmes, Negativland, E.C.C, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Stevie Wonder, Parliament, etc.)

so there you go. feel free to make your own list.

Your soul is bound to the Glass Rose: The
Fragile.

"My heart lies somewhere between perfection
and dust. And while my soul is a sight to
behold, I shatter at the blink of an
eye."

The Glass Rose is associated with perfection,
beauty, and frailty. It is governed by the
goddess Aphrodite and its sign is the Looking
Glass, or Tenuous Love.

As a Glass Rose, you have a beautiful soul and
naturally attract people to you. Love comes
naturally to you, but it hardly ever lasts.
Though you embody the perfect form of love,
your own faults are your own undoing.
