so, i have a favor to ask

whenever a poet stays at our house, or we run into a poet on the road, we ask them to send a postcard to our son Liberty (age 5). over the years he has built up a small collection of cards from all over the world, many from poets he met when they stayed with us. whenever he gets a new postcard he pulls out his atlas & finds where it came from. well, it is spring project time at his school & the kindergarteners have been asked to put together a collection & display it in the beginning of may.

you can see where this is leading

if you can find a few moments in the next week or so to send a postcard to him that would be great. it does not have to be a picture postcard of your area, (though that would be fine) just a card with a brief note of where you are. (the postmark does not always say the location) you can send the cards to

were not going for a world record here, just some cards from some of our diaryland friends. word of mouth is great, but please dont cross post to other lists.

thanks for your help & well keep you posted on how it goes.

be well.
