ok, lets start with the important stuff first� Gary rocks!! long story that i�m not going to get into here, but lets just say that, by simply being who he is, he started my weekend off in the right foot. there are times that the simple acts are the most important, the �from the heart� gestures that make all the difference. Gary is a wonderful person. you should all buy him a dinner & drinks (or at least a pizza).
weekend was long but went better than i hoped for. (not surprising considering how pissy i was in friday) spent most of saturday night doing something i haven�t done in years� writing. it was nice to just sit & write. i miss it. then there was last night� pirates, men in armor, the marauding hoard of sword carrying psychos, head-to-head haiku deathmatch, & a kick-ass poetry feature. all in all it was a nice evening of poetry. go to the poets� asylum website for all the info. (www.poetsasylum.org) sometimes the magic works. on baby duty tonight.
a friend may stop by to visit.
i hope so.
i miss the one-on-one contact sometimes. oh well, more stories tomorrow. i�ll tell you about my wife�s pink hair.
