trying to keep an almost 4 year old occupied during a 3+ hour flight is about as hard as herding cats. they should have "kid only flights". not for parents with kids� just the kids. the parents would take a different flight & arrive where they are going well rested & not covered in snacks. you could pick up your kids with the baggage. to those without kids i bet this sounds cold, but those with kids are thinking about just how much they would pay for something like this.

first full day in the land of the newly wed & the nearly dead (aka:florida). it is not as warm as i hoped but still better than it being in the 30s. trying to not come down with a cold & not doing a good job at it. headache, sore throat achy, the whole drill. drinking lots of coffee in hopes of just flushing the damn thing out. worth a shot.

great reading on sunday. i love when a feature not only rises to the occasion, but goes far beyond it. it was all that & then some. renewed my faith in what poetry could be. every week should be that good.
