our annual post x-mass get together was a near bust thanks to the storm. a few friends came over for food & schoolhouse rock on DVD. spent most of the late night digging out. made it easer this morning but damn my back hurts. started pulling poems together for my new chapbook. if all goes well i�ll have it ready for my feature on sunday. amazing how many i wrote in this diary before bringing them to the page or stage. there are some things i�m grateful for & this is one of them. may go to providence tonight to see some poetry. have to see how the roads are first. i want to go down, but not willing to risk my life to do so. i�m getting wimpy in my old age. more tomorrow when i have more time. |
