i tried to post this on tuesday afternoon but could not. thought i would put it up as is anyway. i�ll post today�s entry later. christmas eve & i�ll be glad when the holidays are finaly over. in the next 7 days will be christmas, my birthday, & new years� not to mention the work backlog to slog through & everyone being on edge from all the holiday �cheer�� & let�s top it off with a snowstorm tomorrow. make it go away please. in my dreamworld, i rent an island somewhere warm & bring all my friends there for the last few weeks of the year. we spend time relaxing in the sun or writing & making music. i spend the days painting while enjoying the warm breeze, the nights talking with friends & relaxing under the stars. we forget the world outside for a few weeks & focus instead on ourselves & the true gifts we have to offer each other. in my dreamworld, i find a way to do this everyday. may all of you grant yourselves the gift of peace this year. may you find that island inside yourselves & invite others to join you. may you look not to �holidays� as special, but to everyday as special. may we remember that we can only give what we have to offer. that when we find the love, friendship, & peace inside ourselves, we can then bring that to others. may we all find healing for the hurts of the past. may we learn to forgive, not only others, but also ourselves. may we become the people we wish to have as friends & lovers. may we become the wonderful souls we know we can be. peace & love to all of you. |
